WAX CARVING WORKSHOPS

Hand-carving using the lost wax process has been around for over 5000 years. This process includes the most handcrafted methods in metalsmithing, minimal machines and a more artful finish. Come and learn the techniques and carve your own piece with me at one of my workshops
WHAT HAPPENS AT
THE WORKSHOP
To begin the workshop we will go through the fascinating lost wax casting process and teach you carving and design techniques, you will then be guided every step of the way to create your desired piece
Once you are happy with your wax carving we can then plan how you would like me to finish and polish your piece once it has been cast in sterling silver
I will then take your wax creation away with me and transform it into your METAL MANIFESTATION and post it back to you in my signature COCO GREY packaging
The vibe is relaxed and fun and refreshments will be provided throughout to keep your creativity flowing
No prior experience is required and there is no need to bring anything with you as all materials and tools will be provided. You may want to bring some design inspiration with you if you have something specific in ming that you want to create
THE COSTS
The workshop cost is £55 per person to be paid when booking your place
There is a further £80 per piece* to be paid at the end of the workshop for your wax to be cast in silver, finished, polished and posted. *Additional charges apply for add ons of engraving and gold vermeil plating or if your ring weights over 20g in silver

Making jewellery is an intimate process and I believe it should stay that way which is why my workshops have limited numbers so I can help you at every step to make sure you are happy with your piece
Please arrive 10 minutes before the start of the workshop so you can settle in and allow up to 3 hours for the whole experience
Please allow up to 4 weeks for your piece to be finished and posted back to you
